Tackle football program for boys and girls 2nd - 6th grade (players turning 6 on or before July 31st are eligible to play on a 2nd grade team) Next Registration Dates: Saturday April 21 and 28th also Every Saturday in May 1:00 to 3pm at the JB clubhouse 94 Worth Rd. St. Louis 63125 (within JB Park) Registration fee is $200. We will provide a helmet, shoulder pads, and game pants with pads. We require all parents to participate in a work duty. An additional check for $200 will be needed at registration. This will not be cashed provided the equipment is returned and work duty has been completed by the end of the season. Please bring a copy of your childs birth certificate, most recent report card and a wallet size photo of your child to be used on their league ID card. Your child will be fitted for equipment at registration. An equipment pick up date will be set before camp begins. We will host free (no contact) football camps throughout the spring and early summer. Our first camp is set for May 8,9,and 10 6:30 till 8:30pm You do not have to be registered for the playing season to attend. Camp is free and open to all entering 2nd through 8th grade. We highly recommend that your boys attend camp. It is an exceptional aid in getting prepared for the season as well as an opportunity for parents and players to meet the coaching staff.
The camp will cover:
proper stretching to prevent injuries
agility drills to improve footwork and speed
offensive & defensive stations will cover ready positions & maintaining proper positioning and stance to read and react to pass and run plays and deliver proper blocking
coaches will close each evening with feedback and a fun activity
Players should wear shorts & t-shirt (or a practice jersey if they have one) tennis shoes or cleats. Don't forget to have them bring a water bottle
Full contact practice for registered players will begin in July. The season runs from September through November. All camps, practices and home games will be held at the Khoury Fields 5400 Meramec Bottom Rd.
